Like other members of the pholidosaurid family, its snout is very elongated, with many teeth (more than a hundred). Sarcosuchus live on the banks of rivers and attack herbivores who came to drink there, like modern crocodiles. Sarcosuchus preferentially attack juveniles and weaken animals, even consuming carrion, in the same way as modern crocodiles.
