Description

Edmontosaurus is a genus of large herbivorous "duck-billed" dinosaurs, one of the largest hadrosaurids. It was a herbivore that could move either on two or four legs. Edmontosaurus live and roam in small groups to large herds, consisting of up to thousands of members.

In its time, Edmontosaurus would have massive migrations following the rains from north to south and back, traveling 600 miles in the process.

Like its ancestors, the earlier Iguanodon dinosaurs, Edmontosaurus walk on all four legs but it can run on its hind legs.
